Back From Mr Yiu Lesson to home

Many friends have told me Mr Yiu has excellent English standard, and I acknowledged too. They always told me when thinking back with those day English was taught by Mr. Yiu, they could hardly find better one.So, when I heard him has opened private tutorial class, I tries.

In the second lesson, most time he checked my compositions I gave him at the first lesson, and he gave some readings for me about techniques in writing, we didn't talk much. And at the last, the third lesson, he appointed me to rewrite an essay, may be due to what I have hanged in was really poor or he was really sick as he nose was runny all time. I just left him to sleep and wrote my essay for half of the lesson in the dinning room with all silence. I called them self studying.

I felt depressed after his lesson. Perhaps I even didn't reach the standard of to be taught by him. Every lessons was difficult, because of my low standard, I could hardly express myself and he could hardly teach me more. What should I do to adapt to his teaching?

Mr. Yiu is a good teacher. He always told me once, 'As I could swim, everyone could write. ' Even so, I still don't know the way to overcome the problems.

Hardly Expressing myself

I realised that my language ability has been poorly developed. When I was in primary school, I could hardly hear the lyrics of TV drama theme songs, however my schoolmates heard them well. Still, I didn't take serious attention to this problem until I was in Form 4 when I had to make oral presentation which was a part of the public exam. I finally noticed that I couldn't speak and think simultaneously. As a result, I got an unsatisfactory grade. After CE, I had some spare time to think of myself. I discovered the problem is much more serious than I thought. Due to the problem, I made little friends. Very often when I have a very good idea, I could not explain it well, and friends feel itself odd.
Besides, I was socially inactive in primary and in junior forms, probably due to I got little chances to meet new friends- My mum took me home after school throughout the primary and brought my lunch in the school lunch hours, so I could make little friends at that period when I thought back it the crucial period.
Still, I was still finally lucky to find a powerful tool to learn a language-which proved work from friends-to listen to music and radio speech programmes which are of high quality. I am looking forward to enjoy the result.

若要勸本人信神，必須能解釋以下事項。
信神的意義
(一)相信神的可得永生
為何要得到永生?/為何升天堂或下地獄重要?
到現時為止，無人能証明或否定靈魂存在，所謂死後升天下地，是基於死後生命的存在的假設。若不相信任何死後生命之存在，升天享福還是下地受難完全沒有意義。

(二)相信神可得救(save),救的定義 to keep sth/sb afe from death, harm , loss若解永生,請參看(一)以下解作可得人生意義。為何一定要相信基督宗教才可得人生意義?
主流宗教、文化都導人向善，如仁義禮智。故不一定要基督宗教也能建立良立品格。若能率性而行，凡事對得住良心，生活充實。基督宗教之功用又是甚麼?
又及:耶穌所謂之天堂是否比喻大同(聖詠也有天堂在人間之說)，鬼神是否比諭?目的尤如墨子借人對未知力量之恐懼以導人向善。墨子主張︰天帝鬼神可賞善罰惡，故要尊天、明鬼。天志非命非攻兼愛、尚賢尚同。
(三)神是宇宙規律的根本、其他未知力量及奇蹟的解釋。
有人說︰看大自然的系統構造何其複雜，難道能以隨機解釋?一定是神的創造。
原始時代當人仍不知有宇宙存在時，不少民族也曾將太陽這未知力量當作神靈崇拜。
我們不能因對一事沒有認知而就將神當作其原因。 癌症病人祈禱後突然痊癒，這是神的顯現。這推論是武斷的。正確之思考方法︰祈禱對人會否有安慰或其他心理作用？這會否改變人的內分秘或身體運作從而抑制癌細胞的生長?
地球是上天對人類的恩賜︰假若地球軌跡半徑比現在增加或減少若干，地球將不適合(地球現存的)生物居住。這是馬後炮的說法。一，地球為的現時模樣一定是當時最適合的結果(如熵entropy最大或most equilibrium)。 情況尤如將打破一杯水，其中一片碎片或一滴水的位置，一定是當時最平衡之結果，現在若要我們解釋該位置產生的原因，有人以神解釋一樣。二, 生命之源到現在雖仍沒有完備之解釋，難道我們就可用神解釋?三，現時的生命是經長時間演變適應的結果，若在其他環境仍有機會演化出另一種生命。
